In an old mill in 1967, two engineers with a passion for motorsports began turning Mercedes-Benz sedans into winning racecars. Today, AMG® continues to create victory on the track and desire on the streets of the world. A Mercedes-AMG® engine starts with the state of the art. Everything from fuel pressure to exhaust routing is developed to quicken, heighten and intensify its response, and yours. From patented processes to cut friction to a new generation of electrified performance, AMG® technology is fueled by its racing success.

Twin-scroll turbocharging teams with a 48-volt hybrid assist that can add 184 lb-ft of electric torque. A 429-hp turbo inline-6, further boosted by an electric compressor, can take the GLE 53 to 60 in 5.2 seconds. A handcrafted 603-hp AMG® biturbo V8 catapults the GLE 63 S in just 3.7.

The road reveals the soul within the GLE Coupe's muscular body. It's a holistic approach to performance that you can hear, feel, and best of all, enjoy having in your hands. The GLE Coupe's performance innovations are not only advanced, they're also adaptable.

The AMG® Sport Exhaust can revel in the GLE 53's revs, or mellow out when you do. The AMG® Performance Exhaust, standard on the GLE 63 and a GLE 53 option, use dynamic flaps to go from cool to crescendo. You can vary its audio output directly or via the modes of AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT.

A range of AMG® braking systems starts where some cars stop. Multipiston front calipers grasp sizable perforated discs on either coupe. Supersized 16.5-inch/6-piston front brakes are a GLE 53 option. They're standard on the GLE 63 S, or you can upgrade to a Ceramic Composite option.

AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT lets you fine-tune your GLE's performance via a console control or the available steering-wheel AMG® DRIVE UNIT. Seven programs, from Comfort, Sport+ and Sand to your own Individual mode, can vary throttle mapping, shifting, suspension and more. The GLE 63 S adds a track-ready RACE mode.

AMG® RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension optimizes driving dynamics and comfort. Its 3-stage adaptive damping responds to roads, loads, and driving modes. It can lower at speed to enhance stability and efficiency, or you can raise it to negotiate ruts and ramps. Available AMG® ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL adds an innovative Roll Stabilization system.

The muscular body is the ideal framework for a versatile, purposeful and indulgently innovative cabin. Generous in room and refinement, the GLE responds to your natural voice and your intuitive touch. A wide range of upholstery, trim and AMG® Performance steering wheel options let you tailor your coupe to you.

The AMG® grille leads the way in functional fashion, along with deep aprons and active LED headlamps that respond to curves or traffic ahead. Flared wheel arches embrace 21- and 22-inch AMG® wheels. The AMG® Night Package cloaks key details, front to rear and wheels to roof rails, in bold black.

A GLE Coupe offers a unique perspective on the joy of driving. The digital cockpit is also highly customizable: Its dual 12.3-inch displays include reconfigurable digital instruments and a multimedia touchscreen. And you can select from 64 colors of ambient lighting.
