What is Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance?

Safety and Security on the Road

Although the road can be unpredictable, Mercedes-Benz owners will take comfort in certified and quick help if something goes wrong. Thanks to the Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program, Mercedes-Benz owners who experience vehicle trouble while away from home can take advantage of emergency auto repair, including refueling, tire changes, dead battery jumpstarts and towing.

No matter how far away from home you are, the Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program is just a short phone call or quick button push away. Simply call 1-800-FOR-MERCEDES (1-800-367-6372) to speak to a Roadside Assistance agent. You can also use the free, GPS-enabled Roadside Assistance Mobile App to alert emergency services. The mobile app allows you to report your physical location and to track the location of your technician.

Contact Mercedes-Benz of El Dorado Hills today to learn more about this exclusive program available just for Mercedes-Benz owners.

Roadside Assistance Auto Repair Services

If the unexpected happens with your vehicle while you’re away from home, the Roadside Assistance program can offer auto repair services wherever you are. Roadside Assistance services are available 24 hours per day, every day of the year.

You can contact the Roadside Assistance agents to receive help for help with the following:

  • Tire replacements
  • Emergency refueling
  • Jumpstart for dead car batteries
  • Towing services
  • Lockout services (free for activembrace® members)

If you’re part of the Roadside Assistance program, you won’t have to pay anything out of pocket for these emergency auto repair services. In the case of an unfixable breakdown, your vehicle will be towed to the nearest Mercedes-Benz service department, which can then assess your needs and handle more complex or extensive auto repair needs.

Did your breakdown cause travel interruptions? The Roadside Assistance program also offers limited reimbursements for the cost of a hotel or other accommodations, meals and other necessary travel expenses.

Roadside Assistance Limitations

Roadside Assistance is limited to previously mentioned auto repair services. Technicians cannot perform major repairs on vehicles while on the road. In cases where your technical problem exceeds the services that can be rendered under the Roadside Assistance program, you will have the option to have your Mercedes-Benz vehicle towed to the nearest authorized service center at no cost.

Repair costs will be incurred and charged by the service center. If you choose to have your vehicle towed to a different location, you may be charged the towing fee by the Mercedes-Benz dealer which originally covered the cost of the towing service.

Roadside Assistance does not cover regular maintenance, such as oil change services or tire rotations. For these services, schedule service with your local Mercedes-Benz dealer.

Who is Eligible for Roadside Assistance?

If your vehicle is currently under any Mercedes-Benz Warranty, you are eligible to receive complimentary Roadside Assistance. This includes any vehicle under New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Extended Vehicle Limited Warranty or Certified Pre-Owned Warranty programs. You’re also eligible if you purchased your vehicle from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership before January 4, 2011.

Mercedes-Benz owners who do not meet these eligibility requirements purchase individual Roadside Assistance services, as needed.
