Night View Assistance:
Mercedes Benz has developed an infrared system which can detect object up to 500 ft away in total darkness. Unlike other systems that capture only heat/warm objects like animals, ours detects debris and other cold objects as well. This information is displayed on a high resolution black and white screen in the instrument cluster.

Distronic Plus:
This feature utilizes two onboard radar systems to monitor the traffic ahead and helps maintain the driver's following distance even in stop-and-go traffic. This system also employs 40% of the vehicle's braking power to help slow the vehicle to a complete stop if necessary.

Pre-Safe:
Mercedes Benz is the only manufacturer to offer such an advanced protection system as standard on all vehicles. If the system detects vehicle movements that suggest an accident is possible, Pre-Safe acts immediately to protect the vehicle's occupants by doing the following: Electronic tensioners tighten the seat belts of the front occupants; front passenger seats are adjusted to a favorable position for seat-belt and air bad effectiveness; in the event of skidding or roll-over, the system will close all side windows and sunroof.
